We arrived on a weekday morning after doing a few laps of this one way street and finding a rare as hens teeth car park. We stood at the counter umming about the blackboard menu choices. Finally the lady said Hi, are you ready to order? and we were. A fruit toast with grapefruit, cranberry and cinnamon marmalade and a dark chocolate and raspberry tart to go with our coffee. It's always a skinny latte and a half strength skinny latte each with one sugar. We may be criticised for our choice in coffee but hey that's they way we like it so there!
The coffee and food came out fast but in the mean time we enjoyed taking in the beautiful cafe with it's Paris/London subway/vintage kind of thing it had going on. The floor is concrete with real coffee beans scattered on it and then sealed in with resin. The food was totally divine. Coffee was just to our taste but a tad on the too cool side. Glasses of cold water where brought to us and at the end, we were asked us if we enjoyed the new marmalade, to which we replied a very enthusiastic yes. All in all a very enjoyable time. It came to just under $20 and was a lovely experience. Only suggestions for improvement: a warm welcome upon entering the shop and slightly warmer coffee. We will visit again.
